We are here willing to talk about stats and basic gearing up for tanks and healers in World of Warcraft and more information on why aggro or threat should be a DPS class's primary concern, and not just damage. Let us take a look at the following content.
First and foremost we make mention of healers. If you are playing as a dedicated healer, your gear is going to be very light on armor and stamina bonuses, as you will be aiming to have as much mana as possible, along with as high a mana regeneration rate as possible. In some cases the stats you need most for healing will be found on a lower armor class than the highest you can wear, for example a Druid healer may wear cloth armor, in order to have better healing. You should be well behind the rest of the group so as to avoid taking any damage because of your limited health and armor, but thankfully healing spells have a longer range to allow this.
Your mana pool is offered by the intellect stat and mana regeneration by both spirit and what is called mp5, though you will still need intellect for regeneration as it improves mana regeneration from the other stats.
Only does spirit offer regeneration while you are not casting spells, which depend on class you can assign talent points to allow a percentage of your spirit on the base of mana regeneration to continue while casting for the talent trees of some classes such as balance Druids and discipline Priests, intellect contributes to improved mana regeneration instead of spirit, so spirit is much less important. Mp5 contributes to mana regeneration at all times. The difference between mp5 and spirit in terms of finding gear is that you will find much higher spirit values on gear than mp5.
Spirit is preferred to mp5 for the classes that have talents to use it more efficiently, because 5 seconds after you stop casting spells, you start to regeneration at the higher rate provided by spirit. It's possible to get into this higher regeneration rate in fights if you cast a lot of spells, and then take a break. If you have the talents the spirit on your gear will be giving about the same amount of mana as gear with mp5 instead as the talents give 30%, and most mp5 on gear is about 1/3 of the spirit value for similar gear. Some healing gear sets even give a further % bonus on top of what is gained through talents, making spirit even more viable than mp5.
Spell power and crit rating are the other stats you should be looking for. In fact they allow you to heal more for the same amount of mana. As usual you should aim for basic levels of spell power and crit, get as much spirit combined with intellect as possible.
As above-mentioned content we finish the healers up, we don't know whether you get the hang of this information, if no, pay more attention to us. As follows we will begin with tank and DPS.
